Gervasi has teamed up with the American Wine School to offer WSET Level 1 Award in Wines certification in January 2026!
During this entry level course, you will explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate that is recognized globally!
Perfect for people new to the world of wine, this course results in wine certification and is a great starting point for most novice consumers. No experience required.

Duration: 6pm-8:30pm once a week for three weeks (includes exam)
Week 1- Wednesday, January 14: 6pm-8pm course instruction + guided wine tasting 8pm-8:30pm tour of The Cave+ GV winery video
Week 2 -Wednesday, January 21: 6pm-6:30pm meet at The Crush House and tour wine making facility, 6:45pm-8:30pm course instruction course instruction + guided wine tasting
Week 3 -Wednesday, January 28: 6pm Q+ A and course review, EXAM + celebratory bubbles after
Course Includes: Your course workbook, eleven wine samples, 6 hours of curriculum + tuition, your exam, and exclusive tours of Gervasi Vineyards Wine making facility at The Crush House, and tour of underground wine barrel facility, The Cave.
